Well it seems it has been awhile since I sat down and wrote an actual family update. We have been so busy this last month playing, enjoying the sun here in Ocean Falls, making impromptu visits back home, and well just living life.
Our Canada Day was celebrated in true Ocean Falls fashion, playing in the rain! There was a hot dog roast down at the gazebo that we went to and got to meet the rest of the people from town who we hadn’t yet met. It was a wonderful afternoon of Wee Man showing off and everyone wishing they had a rain suit just like him!
After Canada Day we were very busy with all the chores that are new to both Mommy and Daddy. Daddy went out with our neighbor to fall our first trees in preparation for winter, and Mommy was busy with all those wonderful things that we have to do every day to keep this place running!
In the middle of July we had an impromptu visit home to Campbell River. Living out here when you find out you have some paperwork that needs to be dealt with in a timely manner the only thing to do really is to hop on the plane for somewhere a little more populated. So that is exactly what we did when I needed to deal with my driver’s licence. We had a great little visit with family and a few friends, but mostly enjoyed the quiet and first sight of sunshine for us since June!
We have been busy since we got back from our mini-vacation out enjoying the sun that is shining here in Ocean Falls. We have been going for walks everyday, and have even gotten Daddy to join us for our walks on his days off! We have had so much fun continuing to explore Ocean Falls and all that once was.
I hope July has found all of you out there exploring and having fun as well 🙂

Yes we should!! I head to CR on August 13 and will be camping for the first couple of days, but then will have super reliable internet and such until we leave for London/Scotland on August 24.
